Fantasy Glo - wall mounting instructions

Included with your Fantasy Glo fireplace is a metal "V" bracket, drywall screws & fasteners suitable for mounting onto gypsum wall board.
If mounting to other surfaces, please choose fasteners suitable for a weight load of at least 58 pounds. A safety factor of 4 should be applied (divide the holding pounds by 4) in real applications.

Select the mounting location for the fireplace. Mount the "V" bracket, shown left, onto the wall. Check to make sure the bracket is level, then install and tighten the fastening hardware. |

Carefully raise the fireplace and align the slot located on the back wall of the fireplace to the mounted "V" bracket. Slide the fireplace back onto the bracket to secure.
The manufacturer recommends 2 able persons for this task.

Once your fireplace is securely fastened to the wall, place the crystals and/or salt rocks (included) onto the fuel ledge. You may also customize your fireplace with stones, twigs, pine cones, seashells and other items to suit your personal taste & style. |

After placing the salt rocks or other accessories onto the fuel ledge, you are ready to install the front glass. Tilt the glass and slide it up into the slot at the top of the fireplace frame, pushing the bottom of the glass to line up with the bottom slot. The glass then slides down into place.
To remove the front glass, simply push the glass up at the top slot and pull the glass out from the bottom.
CAUTION! Tempered glass is heavy. Hold firmly! Do not drop the glass as this can cause injury.
